Betty Brogan was a watercolor artist and resided in Glasgow, Kentucky with her husband Bill. She passed away in 2018, but her husband has preserved her legacy by releasing some of her original work for sale to the public.
Betty was a long-serving member of the Glasgow community. She served as President of the Arts Guild of the Barrens and was a member of the Kentucky Watercolor Society.
After retirement from the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce, Betty pursued her desire to paint by taking watercolor classes and workshops in Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina under well-known art instructors.
Betty loved painting with transparent watercolors. She found inspiration in her own flower gardens and would always paint bouquets in the most "juicy colors." Most of her original artwork has sold and only a few pieces remain exclusively here at Unique Gifts.
